Our dance curriculum for teenage students is rooted in the world renowed Royal Academy of Dancing teaching syllabus, the Vagonova syllabus, Giordano Jazz Syllabus, Horton & Ailey Techniques, and the Dance Masters of America syllabi.
Our class sizes are small, well-managed by our experienced teachers, and offer plenty of creativity, expression, and joy of the dance arts for both recreational students and highly dedicated students of dance.
Our training syllabus has a long history of producing exceptional artists. We have alumni performing on Broadway stages, in major ballet companies, and in pre-professional and professional performing arts programs across the nation. Our students are accepted into prestigious study programs and apprenticeship programs including American Ballet Theatre, the School of American Ballet, Joffrey Ballet, and others.
We also have teenagers that begin taking dance for the first time with us. Perhaps they have always wanted to dance or maybe they want to improve their skills for high school theatre, for college applications, or simply personal achievement. Collierville Arts Academy offers classes for teenagers at all levels of experience.
